ITINERARY
Day 1 Launceston
Collect your vehicle any time this morning and enjoy the day exploring Launceston and the Tamar Valley. Overnight at Best Western Plus, Launceston.

Day 2 Launceston to Stanley (225km)
Travel through Deloraine and take a slight detour to taste smoked baby salmon at 41 Degrees South Salmon before heading up to Devonport. Enjoy any of the roadside stalls and produce farmers markets on the way to Stanley as you drive along the coast. Stay the next two nights at Stanley Seaview Inn.

Day 3 Stanley
Buy a fresh crayfish from Stanley wharf and have a picnic at one of the deserted beaches, then visit Providore 24 and purchase some Tasmanian gourmet produce. Dine at the award winning Old Cable Station, or for a casual dining option try the bistro at the Stanley Hotel. It’s a food lovers dream!

Day 4 Stanley to Devonport (126km)
Make your way back towards Devonport and stop off at Boat Harbour. Travel along to Burnie to sample some cheese at Lactos Cheese Factory, then head south to enjoy award winning whiskey at Hellyers Road Whiskey Distillery. Overnight at Edgewater, Devonport.

Day 5 Devonport to Launceston (100km)
Driving south, pick up some handmade chocolates from House of Anvers, located just outside Latrobe. Continue on to Elizabeth Town, stopping for a bite at Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm and artisan cheese at Ashgrove Cheese Farm. On the way back to Launceston, stop in at the Tasmanian Gourmet Sauce Company at Evandale for some treats to take home. The car is booked until the following day and should be returned by the same time as it was collected on day 1 to avoid any charges.
